Through our partner Feinheit GmbH, we develop applications for all major mobile platforms and the web. Following are some sample applications from the Feinheit selection:
IKEA KNUT 2010 - iPhone App
KNUT goes iPhone has been developed for an IKEA Christmas sales campaign. The purpose of the KNUT game is to throw a christmas tree as far as possible. FEINHEIT has been in charge of the Online-Game since 2007. In 2010 the game was adapted for the iPhone. The idea and game functions are still the same, but the setting has been fully recreated: the landscape, Søren, the christmas tree pitcher, and the elk as well as an IKEA zeppelin were designed in 3D. In addition to the game, FEINHEIT implemented additional features, such as:
- Competition System: Ability to play against other Swiss competitors. Possibility to win gift cards from IKEA.
- Facebook Connect: Easy publishing of the highscore on own wall.
- On request: receipt of new KNUT offers.
Within two weeks the game was downloaded and installed over 6000 times.

HOME Welcome to the Digital Life
FEINHEIT and Stapferhaus Lenzburg collaborated to develop a Communication and a Crossmedia strategy including the core message, the visual and typographical artwork and the conjunction of the digital and analog world.
- Digital Media:
The first step was to create a project website and to define the range of functions as well as the necessary interfaces for the Social-Plugins. A complete FeinCMS, an Elephantblog, a Newsletter database, a media library and a databse which was connected with a Mobile-app of HOME. All Newsletter registrations are guided to the database of FeinCMS and administered centrally. - Mobile Media:
iPhone users downloading the Stapferhaus application can go over the Marker with their finger and the Stapferhaus appears in 3D. Through the finger movement over the screen of the iPhone, the user has the possibility to make a short tour of the different sections of the exhibition. Thanks to the technique of Augmented Reality the analog world merges with the digital world. The app contains also an FAQ with the rules of conduct in the digital life and an immediate evaluation of users' answers on specific themes.
The iPad offers even more functionalities, for example for schools: each student has the possibility to log in on the HOME website before visiting the real exhibition and to fill out a specific questionnaire. At the exhibition the students get an iPad, they log in and an Avatar welcomes them personally and takes them to an individual tour through the exhibition, based on the interests they communicated when filling out the questionnaire. Each participant of the group has to answer questions on the various sections visited. As soon as the tour is over, the participants meet at the Forum, where the evaluation of the survey will be presented. A summary of the results showcases the group's mind on the different themes in comparison to the average feedback given by all visitors. The results are divided into "digital immigrants" (born before 1980) and "digital natives (born after 1980 and younger).
