This report provides a detailed and current analysis of Swiss banks' use of Social Media and shows an increasing interest for social media as a way to manage their brands, reach their target groups and get closer to their clients.
We contacted a total of 65 Swiss Banks. 41 banks took part in our study, ensuring a high response rate of 63%.

Facebook and other social networks are also very strong in Austria and increasingly gaining momentum. This report looks at how Austrian Banks currently use social media and what the main trends are for the near future.
For this study, we have contacted a total of 56 banks in Austria. 23 banks took part in our study, ensuring a high response rate of 41%.

Social Media has become a main part of businesses' branding, positionning and marketing strategies. Although the insurance sector has not been a leader in the use of social media platform, our study shows that insurance firms are showing an increasing interest in leveraging social media for their activities.
This report provides a detailed look at the current state of social media in the insurance sector. We have contacted a total of 143 companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. 52 Insurance firms took part in our study, ensuring a response rate of 36%.
